For_the_Love_of_Bees

This started with a short research documentary exploring London’s Love for Bee Keeping. Following several beekeepers we quickly found ourselves entangled within a strong community of this niche passion.

 

The film shows the personal impacts on each individual’s relationship with the pastime, beyond just a craft. Through one of the connections we made we were asked to collaborate with Wandsworth Prison’s Bee Keeping group to co-design and develop some labels for their honey jars. This took place through a series of workshops led by us, in which we produced a label template for which the participants designed stamps to print onto. These were materialised by us and returned to the prison to allow for future label production.
